Xplore Federal Credit Union, a community charter credit union in Southern Louisiana, will be celebrating the Grand Opening of their new Metairie branch with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, May 18th at 1:00 p.m. Xplore FCU’s newest branch is located in the Lakewood Plaza Shopping Center at 221 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Ste E Metairie, LA 70005 next to Winn-Dixie. The Ribbon Cutting is being hosted in conjunction with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. Open since March, the branch includes a teller line, two Xplore Away offices, and a drive-up ATM toward the front of the parking lot.

Centrally located, Xplore FCU’s newest branch is a convenient location for members across the area; the branch is only 10 minutes from City Park, 15 minutes from Lafreniere Park, and 15 minutes from Downtown New Orleans. The newly renovated space provides convenient services from the drive-up ATM in the parking lot to the large Xplore Away offices. Xplore’s newest technology, Xplore Away video banking, is featured in two large offices at the 221 Veterans branch. The Xplore Away service allows anyone to speak face to face with a local financial representative. The drive-up ATM for this branch is located toward the front of the parking lot near the corner of Carrollton Avenue and Veterans Boulevard.
